You can search for photos and film material in our shop for image licences. The images and video copies are grouped by decade and by theme. We have organised the decades according to the historical caesuras, for example the 1930s end in the Second World War 1939-1945 and the post-war period has its own section 1945 to 1949. A search function is also available for navigation.

A great deal of material is only gradually being processed by us, so it is always worth making an enquiry. Film material is also available for all photos, some of which are not yet online. This is another reason why it is worth sending us a message about your search.
