Films from the Nazi era is a collection of documentary films produced during the National Socialist regime. Licences for use are available from the Historiathek.

  • Recovery of looted art in Berchtesgaden in May 1945. This film was shot by Signal Corps cameramen in Berchtesgaden in May 1945. It shows the recovery and inventory of the art collection by Major Harry Anderson. You can also see Hermann Göring's art dealer, Walter Andreas Hofer. Film length 4 minutes.   • Exhibition Degenerate Art Munich 1937. The National Socialists called an exhibition in Munich in 1937 "degenerate art", where works by Nolde, Kirchner, Klee, Campendonk, Schmidt-Rotluff, Barlach and others were vilified.   • The film footage shows the arrival of the first Kindertransport of German-Jewish children in Harwich, Great Britain, on 2 December 1938. The British government had granted permission for adolescents between the ages of five and 17 to enter the country. 200 German-Jewish children were able to leave for England on this first transport on the ship "Prague" via Hoek van Holland.
