Following the landing in Normandy, accredited US war correspondents accompanied Allied troops inland and reported for American media. Jack Lieb, himself a cameraman for the Hearst newsreel, documented his colleagues on his private Kodachrome camera. Such color footage of correspondents in the field in Normandy from this period has survived in extremely rare form.
