This still image is from the color film “D-Day to Germany” by US newsreel cameraman Jack Lieb, who documented the Allied invasion of Normandy in 1944 and the Allied advance into Germany using a 16mm Kodachrome camera. The color footage is particularly noteworthy as most recordings of the same events are in black and white.
